Moving Forward

Mahalo to this week's guest speaker, Jean Evans of Palama Settlement. Established in 1896, Palama Settlement has been providing children and families in the Kalihi–Palama area with dental care, after school care and family support for over 100 years.



This week, we welcomed potential member Douglas "Kalani" Akiu, an agent with New York Life, and Liz Kane, District 5000 Assistant Governor of Central Oahu Clubs. Mei Nakamoto inspired us with a story about the dedication of Special Olympics coaches, and the exciting potential shown by candidates for the Hawaii Rotary Youth Foundation Scholarship.

Guided Tour and Tea at Lyon Arboretum, This Saturday March 5, 9 - 11 am

President Paul Sibley arranged a guided tour by Christopher Dunn, followed by tea at one of our local gems, Lyon Arboretum.
